It was early afternoon and I was the only patron in the restaurant. I spoke with the waiter but what I didn't expect was they added the tip to the bill. I ordered one EEl nigiri style order and one California roll, the California roll was $240 pesos, the Eel was $120 pesos. They charged me $490 pesos... I ordered a shrimp appetizer and a glass of wine. It was mostly good but the shrimp was just small pieces. What made it good was the delicious dip that came with it. I had to ask for wasabi which was the best I've had in SMA but if you are a Japanese restaurant you should always serve pickled ginger and wasabi plus soy sauce??? Why, oh why do SMA japanese restaurants not automatically serve these essential ingredients to their sushi. Quite frankly, I'm shocked. Sakura has a very nice location, but it has to up it's sides. It's like going to a MX restaurant and not getting chips and salsa.
