Mission Market Deli - San Miguel

Filthy store and rude shopkeeper. Very disappointing and not representative of the type of service in this area. Hope there's a change of ownership again SOON.

Save your money. Way over priced and shady management. $48 for a small bag of beef jerky and 2 bottles of water? The store is in shambles. Very sad as it used to be a thriving store with good sandwiches. New management seems to be trying to squeeze as much out of it before it goes belly up. The now non-operational deli section is stacked with inventory and paperwork. Looks like they're going out of business.

This store is smelly and dirty most of the time. I don 't think they really clean. We only go here when desperate and then likely do not find what we are looking for. There is zero deli. No deli, I repeat. I think Yelp needs to update these photos. Sounds like it was great when there was one. Just a sign that says deli now. No food other than some canned goods, ice cream and candy. I doubt this will ever change. I think the owner wants to be chill and sell beer and lottery. Also, saw his underage child sell beer to farm workers with no identification. Pretty funny operation .

Customer service is horrendous with the little guy who is always working there. Haven't went here in over year and was reminded why when I did.

New owner is a weirdo!!! I was sent to this store by a friend to pick up some drinks and at first only had the cash out that my friend had given me. He told me i better start putting this **** back before I could even open my wallet. I respectfully told him I hadn 't finished taking out my money but that if it was going to be like that then I was happy to take my business elsewhere. He started cursing at me calling me a **** and to take my ass to walmart. Literally throwing a tantrum I mean the guy has serious issues....Keep in mind I was quiet and respectful till he started calling me names. He cursed me out right in front of a customer yelling names at me till I walked out the door. I 'm actually not one to ever leave negative reviews but Please don 't give this place any business. New owner is a racist **** and clearly hates poor people by the nature of his comments. Any one like that shouldn 't be owning a business or working customer service. Unprofessional and just a straight up fucking weirdo.
