Been coming here for over 20 years.No soup today and they no longer have the dessert but we always enjoy the food.We love all the salt and pepper items, chicken wings, tofu, and fish. What Venu Javarappa doesn't like about Silver House:
Pros: Authentic chinese food. Bustling. Popular fixture for decades.Cons: right on a busy el camino junction so the parking can be rather painfully hard. Service is a challenge. They tend to misplace to-go orders and lie about it. Once, they claimed they did not even get our order when they were talking to each other that someone else picked up our order. Great Chinese restaurant! Longtime owner... Been going here since the 90's! Salt and pepper crab is a favorite here!
Didnt get served after 10 minutes when the restaurant just opened at 11am with nobody else in the shop
Nice decor and everything was cooked excellently! The salt pepper pork was freshly fried and delicious. Fish was also really good and tasted fresh
Cantonese cuisine with good dishes and cooking skills, it is worth a try.
