This was our first visit to Rise Wood Fire, and I was immediately impressed by how clean the restaurant was. Michelle, the hostess, greeted us warmly, and even though we arrived about 10 minutes early, she seated us right away. What User doesn't like about Rise Woodfire:
We were seated in patio area. All windows were closed umbrella heaters were being used. This is a code violation a potential health hazard. There was a strong smell of liquid propane gas that lingered after changing out tank. There was no manager we were told staff disregarded our concerns. My husband is a building inspector knows code. The Faroe Islands Scottish Salmon was simply outstanding—cooked to perfection, it remained moist rather than overcooked and dry like you often find elsewhere. The Woodfired Chicken Wings were full of meat, cooked just right, and bursting with flavor. The Parmesan Truffle fries were also excellent.

The pizza here is consistently excellent; in my opinion, it’s the best pizza on the peninsula. I usually get the veggie pizza, but this time I decided to try the rib arugula and calabrese honey. Both were tasty, but the veggie remains my favorite.
Timely delivery, flavorful food, quality ingredients this is going to be our neighborhood pizza option.
The pizza was excellent once again, but it truly reaches another level when topped with ricotta. I suggest giving it a try, even if you consider yourself tough. The housemade lemonade was refreshing and reminded me of the homemade sour lemonade from my childhood on a hot day. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it!
