A lot of different choice , super delicious dessert place .Chill , great place with good dessert.The favor is just 100% the same from Taiwan. Really worth to give a try !!

Reliable spot for family or group post-dinner dessert or afternoon snacks. Has these large corner tables that you can squeeze in many and with add on stools, many can gather around. Really smart interior design.The Taiwanese desserts are great. It 's a bit difficult to find your line of favorites as there 's some weird sounding stuff like taro balls and sweet tofu. But once you get the groove, it 's really tasty and consistent.You can 't go wrong with shaved ice and these are some of the best in the Bay Area.My only message to the owners is that service time can be really random . The desserts aren 't complicated yet it feels like sometimes they come out extremely fast and sometimes it 's as if they are growing the beans for the tofu.Overall wonderful addition to San Mateo.Parking: Standard San Mateo parking challenge. Free streets and lots over weekends and late night. Otherwise a couple dollars.

What a disappointing experience! Poor service, mediocre desserts. Long line to order; only one machine in operation An insanely ridiculous amount of confusing signage. I counted more than 20 ! signs and posters at the entrance. Do this, don't do this, also don't do this, here's how to do this, here's what's available, here's what else is available, etc. etc. etc. etc. Worse, the signs aren't even accurate! I was excited about a mango special which... was not orderable on the machine! And then it asked for a tip! Given that we have to order for ourselves, pick up our food, then bus our food... what are we even tipping for?!?And after all that... my black sugar boba shaved ice was... okay. Not bad, not great. Nice that the sugar amount is customizable, though.

The food is delicious and the portion size is good. The staff just stay behind the counter and mind their own business, they don't really interact with customers much. It's a good place to hang out with larger groups or get some work done.
