Fast-paced restaurant with delicious Shanghai food. I would highly recommend their dessert of Mini Sesame Dumplings in Rice Wine Sauce 酒釀 . For entrees, #703: Gi Chai w/Bamboo Shoots is my favorite vegetable dish while #301: Sweet Sour Spare Ribs Shanghai Style. This is a place we’d go to with my Grandmother for Shanghainese food for many years. The food was amazing, near authentic, but those times have changed. Some of the dishes are still descent, but what disappointed was the won ton soup… the broth lacked any sort of flavor; it’s almost like they just kept a chicken stock and would add water to it every time it was ordered. The food here is so delicious and I can't get enough! I also have a lot of respect for the entire staff because it's clear they are all working so hard. Love coming here!
Solid Chinese food. Definitely want to come back again to try more different dishes. Very homey style curry chicken
For any Chinese restaurant rating, taste is the only criteria. This is probably one of the top Shanghainess food in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
I was initially apprehensive to come since I wasn’t chinese, but the owners were super nice and had great service! The food was great, and they were definitely working hard between all of the tables in the restaurant. All the food was amazing, and paired well with the tea. I’ll definitely come back and try their Shanghai dim sum! They offered free flavored peanuts to everyone, which is rare for chinese restaurants.
