Celia's Mexican - San Mateo

My wife loves this place. for me eating is good, but average fair. the margaritas, on the other hand, are some of the best. in san mateo of hillsdale blvd. (menlo park is not so good) we always get the top rule, or that is what we call it. they go great with the house made salsa and chips. portions for most plates are generous. they get a good one here.

Service was good and fast. the fajitas quesadilla in the appetizer menu is great as a meal. the super burrito is huge. we had it with grilled chicken.

Great Mexican comfort food with the families. we like to eat al fresco. delicious tacos, enchiladas, burritos and teller. I have the Cancun plate. a delicious trifecta of seafood and meat.huh, garnel, crumbs with tomato, swirling, mushrooms in a white wine sauce. delicious.

Awesome happy hour drinks. The chicken fajitas and pork carnitas tacos are also good and flavorful. The chips are a little dainty though.

Everyone in my party, enjoyed their dinners. I only had a salad, not true Mexican food! The salad was good!
