If you ever wondered how good the food could be if you were Mexican and your grandma cooked for you here is the answer. We went to this charming little restaurant for lunch after a long morning at the pyramids. The food is cooked and served by elderly women whose presence adds to the traditional atmosphere of the place. All the food is authentically ‘home made’ and delicious. They also do traditional deserts. Try something you haven’t had before; I had the caramelised cactus! Can’t recommend enough.

Love that it is a family run restaurants. The grandmas there make you feel that you are a guest at their home table. Food was healthy and delicious. It is located behind the Pyramid of the Moon. They don't accept credit cards but you can pay USD or peso. $30 for two people including drinks.
