The Rosengarten tea room is so sweet! Great place to get tea service for afternoon high tea. You have a set menu containing scones, finger sandwiches and petit four desserts. I highly recommend getting a reservation because they are always very busy and cannot always accommodate walks. You have options for vegetarians. This is a great place to take for a date or a mother, grandmother or little girl. Realize that this is located INSIDE the garden area in the Huntington library, which requires a fee, unless you are a member. Make a day or afternoon to make the entrance fee worth what it is. The gardens are beautiful and there are also some art exhibitions.
Although I lived so close to this joint, it took 3 years to finally stop, and it is now one of my favorite bars in the city. I'm a self-praised Wino, and these guys serve delicious wine. They do not really have a menu, but they have some very well-known bartenders that you describe the type of wine in the mood for, and they bring some options for you. The only drawback is parking, but it is LA, so it is to be expected.
Great English tea time with beautiful acorns and small sandwiches and candy. This is definitely a good place to go to church. Our church, Vintage Pasadena at the Hamilton Element School is just about 4 minutes from this place. We decided to pay a visit to the library and have afternoon tea in the tea room. There are two tea set options, one with only the sandwiches and pastries for $35 and the other with cave and champagne for $60. We chose the cheaper option. But we were so full after the devotion of the Teaser Tower. My favorites were the Brie cheese cracker and the smoke salmon sandwiches. My wife loves her squirrels. In fact, she is looking forward to the squirrels very time we go to this teahouse. This tea room also offers varieties of teas from all time favorite English teas to ORIENTAL green tea with fruit. I chose Jasmine Blueberry tea. This tea is absolutely fabulous and smells so good with jasmine scent. This place is very hectic on weekends. Even if we had a reservation, we have to wait half an hour. So go early with your reservation to secure your seats. It is a beautiful roam around the library after enjoying the beauty of the flowers and the various themed gardens
Loved the time that was recently spent in the tea room. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back to enjoy what they offer as well as the beautiful properties of the Huntington Library.
I enjoyed the Rose Garden Tea Room.... By far my favorite so far. Very Delicious items and Yummy selection of Teas. On the down side I was not aware in order to get into the Rose Garden Tea Room your expected to pay entrance fee as well to get inside, therefore you minus well utilized that time to take a walk around the garden after tea time. It's a beautiful peaceful walk.
