I'm reviewing myself 5 years ago. I only had problems with the location san marcos. it was closest to me and is gone now. every other phil was me.

Read the reviews, so took my enkelin there during the visit of sea world. I was very disappointed with the meal. I'm on my way to bbq.

I tried the pork ribs with fries and coleslaw, and they were delicious. The sauce was great and the ribs were falling off the bone. You can order a full portion for two people, and if you're really hungry, maybe add a small appetizer. The service was super friendly, always there to provide boxes and assist with clearing the tables promptly. I also appreciate that the restaurant is not extremely busy, with only a 5-10 minute wait on Saturdays.

I was very impressed with Phil's BBQ. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. I ordered the ribs and chicken with sauce on the side, along with vegetables and macaroni salad as my sides. Everything was delicious. My coworkers all ordered different meals and also enjoyed their dishes. For full service, it's recommended to sit on the left side in the bar area, which may be a bit odd but it's not a major issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend Phil's BBQ.
