Netos Mexican Food - San Marcos

This restaurant is very friendly and clean. Please note that the bathrooms are currently closed due to COVID-19, and they close at 4 PM on Sundays. They prepare their rice in chicken broth, so if you're vegan, it might be best to avoid ordering that, but the food is fantastic! I really appreciate how accommodating they were when my daughters needed something or made a mess; they are very kid-friendly. The restaurant has TVs and often plays Spanish music or soccer games, creating a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional Mexican family restaurant. I used to do laundry while my daughters played and would enjoy dinner while practicing Spanish at this restaurant. So, if you have laundry to do and want to enjoy some excellent Mexican food, I highly recommend giving them a try. However, if you're vegan, I would suggest skipping the rice and likely the beans too.

The tacos were delicious, and they came with chips for the salsa bar.

They have a new habanero salsa that is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend giving it a try. It won’t overwhelm your taste buds, but it definitely adds a nice kick and a lot of flavor!

Visiting the area we found this little gem of authentic Mexican Restaurant. The food was delicious and big amount. The soup and burritos that we ordered were the best we ever had. Going back again before our flight. Highly recommend this very welcoming establishment.
