Nachos - San Marcos

The food here is consistently excellent. I've been a regular since I moved to San Marcos three years ago, and I’ve never been let down by any dish I've tried. Plus, the flavors are truly authentic!

While driving around, I noticed long lines at both Taco John's and Taco Bell. Instead, I decided to stop at Nachos, which offers takeout as well as spacious seating for dine-in customers. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp plate, which came with a salad, rice, refried beans, guacamole, a pan-fried jalapeño, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. On the side, I received pico de gallo and your choice of green or red salsa. The food was incredible, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I also tried their cinnamon sugar cookies and chocolate cookies—both were some of the best I've ever had. I'm absolutely thrilled! Why settle for a mediocre experience when you can enjoy authentic flavors without the wait?

This charming little family-owned Mexican restaurant is a gem. They are happy to customize your order upon request. The tamales are available a la carte, and they are absolutely heavenly. The tacos were delicious too. My wife loved her non-spicy chicken maco, which was packed with plenty of meat. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Our new favorite taco shop. The guys at work love this place. Very friendly staff and the food is excellent. Easy parking for our large trucks too.

My girlfriend and I sampled the Machaca burrito, flautas, chicken sopas, and horchata. The food was incredibly fresh, warm, and vibrant, reflecting the colors of the Mexican flag! The complimentary hospitality, including chips and salsa, added to the enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu!
