Meadiocrity Mead - San Marcos

My wife and I love mead and are always on the the lookout for great tasting room experience. The live music was cool (a little loud... Volume could of been half of what it was and would of been perfect) We were hoping for a charcuterie tasting board... Fine meats and cheeses go great with mead. We will be coming back with a snack tray in hand ???

I haven't had mead before, so this was a new experience for me. They had more options than I expected and there was definitely something for everyone. I normally go for the sweeter drinks and I loved the blueberry waffle and orange cream, though the foundation was much more pleasant than I expected give on the 12%ABV. It's a cute tasting room we went on a Sunday afternoon and it was totally dead, but it looked like it could handle more than enough people for normal hours. The person working the front was helpful and interactive. When we went there was a Groupon 4 flights and snacks for $25 which was a fantastic deal. The churro popcorn was really amazing.

First, I love how cute this place is. It decorated nicely in the bee theme, so nice. The staff are always friendly not just to explain the different flavors and the product itself but they are also happy to chat with you about any old thing. If you like mead you are in luck because the mead here is delicious. If you hate mead well be prepared to be transformed. They have something for everyone. No, really, they do! I've never experienced so many different flavors of mead in one single place. I thought I didn't like mead and then I came here. I've tried mead other places but Meadiocrity is the only place I like Mead.

Very cool place. Quite different from what I thought mead was. Went with 2 others and got one of each type. Drank it outside with a heater. Highly recommend ?
