The food at this restaurant is excellent! We were traveling and craving some authentic breakfast tacos. We found this hidden gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Located off a main road, the restaurant is small but you can tell it's authentic. The chilaquiles were delicious and they served great coffee, Mexican Cokes, and Fanta. What johnny doesn't like about El Taco Feliz 2:
$21.36 for 2 barbacoa and 2 beef fajita tacos and a strawberry lemonade. Tortillas are homemade their ratio that they use makes it more of a pita like tortilla which oxidizes and becomes hard. Personally I prefer a more soft homemade tortilla like H‑E‑B has , but maybe they gave me an old tortillas. Took over 20 minutes which I thought was to long personally but I was patently waiting being my first time trying it. Barbacoa was too greasy for me, Beef fajitas were MID not much seasoning or addition of bell peppers and onions for flavor. 2 Stars for wait time food quality and seasoning , but the strawberry lemonade slapped it was $4.50 though. I don’t think I’ll be coming back was worth a try though.
I like the breakfast food from here. Tacos taste authentic. I've only had breakfast tacos from here but everytime I've went they've been really good. Tortillas texture is perfect. The hot sauce is good too. They have two types. One really dark redsauce has a smokiness to the spice. And the other is like a reddish green color, has a spicy/sour like taste to it but stillgood. The Lady at the window is always really nice too. Same person there everytime I've went. 4 of 5 stars
The restaurant may be small, but it delivers big flavors. The prices are reasonable and the place is kept clean.
This restaurant serves amazing Mexican food with outstanding service. I've been on the hunt for good Mexican cuisine and I've finally found it at this restaurant! If you're looking for high quality food and great service, you must give this place a try. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this restaurant definitely deserves it.
If you're craving delicious Mexican food, make sure to visit this hidden gem in San Marcos. The menudo is flavorful and beautifully presented in an authentic clay bowl. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is attentive and friendly. It's a cozy and peaceful spot with the option for takeout tacos at the walk-up window. Don't pass up the opportunity to dine here! Stop by Taco Feliz Happy Taco and may you be blessed with happiness now and always.

However, if you want authentic, homemade Mexican food, then this is the place to go. We will definitely remember this place and make sure to visit every time we are in town or passing through. Perfect!
