Dairy Queen - San Marcos

I usually choose this for desserts. their waiting times are high and not worth it for eating, but definitiw good desserts.

Terrible customer service! eating was sub par! this is the worst milk queen I have ever visited and I have visited 16 milk queen last year!

The first time I've ever had the starving burger. it was bigger than I expected, compared to other Burger chain restaurants.

Maybe its growing up in Texas where every small town has a Dairy Queen? But I've always been partial to their burgers and ice cream dishes. I've found their staff to always be friendly and always strive to serve. Great food and excellent service. Clean facility.

I was extremely disappointed by our experience at this restaurant last night, and I'm certain other customers felt the same way as many walked out. There was only one overwhelmed staff member working the front, who appeared exhausted and lacked assistance. A manager reprimanded him for a mistake in an order, despite him also having to handle the register, attend to drink refills in the back (due to a broken soda machine on the floor), shuttle between bagging orders and deliveries, and continue taking all incoming orders. He was clearly overworked, while the manager who scolded him disappeared and did not help. Our order was incomplete, we had to request our drinks, and as the lone staff member made them, a line formed toward the door with some customers leaving. The restaurant was dirty and understaffed. Perhaps it would have been better to close the dining area and focus solely on the drive-thru, which seemed to be the only area functioning smoothly.
