We came down to the beach after lunch to enjoy the waves, some beers, some chips and people watch. We met a beach kitty that was very sweet and treated her to a fish lunch. I think the staff thought we were crazy but they happily complied with our request. LA Perla is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and enjoy San Pancho life View all feedback.
What Dalma Katona doesn't like about La Perla:
the chips and salsa were okay. everything else is sucked. terrible hamburger, terrible garnelenburger. yuck! I asked for iced tee. a glass of cold water with a tea bag was brought in. if you have to see the sunset here, order chips and salsa, have a beer and go. View all feedback.
Sunset and fajes! we decided to take the sunset and eat a bite. the beach and the restaurant were very busy this evening, but a beautiful sunset. marguitas were excellent and generous! the garlic octopus superb! for the net we had the garlic and chicken pheasies both very tasty and generous portions! price point was excellent, the setting amazing, but the service a tad slow! all in all a good choice!
Ordered garnelenquesadilla and zeveche, both were really good and both took a long time to get out of the kitchen. no problems with a credit card here and her wifi also worked great. I would recommend this beach restaurant above one next to it. last, great place to see the sunset.
We ate here once - I don't recall the meal. So it was probably good but not amazing. They have great location (literally on the beach) and good margaritas though. Get a couple margaritas there and watch the sunset. You will not regret it. We ended up back there on 4 different nights for Pinapple, Mango margaritas and a sunset. Lovely.
Like many places in Mexico, they have the location and take it for granted. Not exactly clean, beach loungers 10 years over due, the service was very slow and the food very bland... i will try the place on the other side of the beach next and let you know.
We spent some time here on our third day in San Pancho. After wandering in some of the shops, we decided to sit for a while and get a few drinks on the beach. Very low key. Wait staff was attentive but not pushy. Brought us chips & salsa to go with our drinks & let us enjoy the quiet of the beach. Small number of beach vendors came by and all were very respectful. We could have spent hours there enjoying drinks, chips and sunshine. They also had clean restrooms available for customers.
