Great new cocktail bar above la Ola Rica. Huge palapa with inventive cocktail menu. Grab a bar stool along the street side and watch the activity below. Excellent menu and terrific service. Try the burnt orange manhattan! View all feedback.

Food was great - I had the avocado shrimp salad. Perfect size for lunch.Smaller meals than at Ola Rica downstairs and just as good. But oh, I miss their previous beach location.Sweet upstairs location with an even higher 12 person palapa table if you want a private party.I hope more people discover this place to ensure it continues.
Climb up an almost secret set of stairs around the corner from the distinguished main restaurant and you will find a most wonderful enclave...your hostess will seat you at the bar overlooking the street action or a more private table setting, order a drink from David the surfer-dude bartender and relax until you tapas portioned meals arrive. The is a taste choice for everyone in your group. I haven't discovered a singular favourite yet. Excellent quality the Ola Rica is known for, good value pricing and you almost always see another of the many friends you have made in this town. Live music on some nights too...
Monday evening excellent live band entertainment! Stopped by for a bite and some live entertainment. The trio was excellent, the food very tasty and the place had a ton of energy. Monday/Friday live entertainment, the place to be!!!!
What a pleasant surprise, to find this new spot perched above San Pancho's main street. I was saddened by the closing of La Playa - but this spot from that same team fills the void and more. You could always count on La Playa for a selection of cocktails beyond standard issue margaritas and pina coladas. La Cresta has an impressive roster of cocktails - including inventive twists on classics like the Burnt Orange Manhattan. The staff is professional yet friendly and welcoming. The menu leans more toward bar snacking, but does include some lovely entrees. The atmosphere is casual and lively. For me, there's no better seat in the house than one along the railing overlooking the street.
