The Shepherd Mix Food - San Leon

This place is tops. If you like a dive bar with attitude this place is for you ! Our waitress was just as salty as us so we had a blast together then her manager introduced herself. Renatta runs this place very well. Great food items and quality drinks. The oysters were delectable. My SanLeon BLT made with fried bologna made me as happy as it did when I was a kid. This one just has a bit more food flair. Fabulous tshirts that reflect the bars attitude perfectly. This isn’t a family place by any means it’s bawdy fun of the best kind. The decor definitely says bar ! We loved this place.

Nice place off the beaten path between Galveston and Kemah. The outdoor area was great and super clean. Staff was attentive and kind. Oysters we had a bunch of different ways were great but the batter needs to be improved. Burgers were great too and the food in general was well prepared. We enjoyed this place and really didn’t know what to expect as it’s located in an area you don’t expect a restaurant and bar to be in. Oh It is nice quite no kids allowed!!

The food was disappointing. Manager was totally rude. We will not ever set foot in this place again.

Delicious! We got the Birria tacos and Dutch burger. Yummmmmmm

We had excellent service. We had fish cakes, gizzards, shrimp quesadillas and the grilled oysters with shrimp topping. All of the food was excellent. First timer.
