Iced all the way!The service is very friendly and drinks come out after a tiny wait.Ambiance is amazing! As a plant family love seeing all the varieties of house plants. What Cristina Rojas López doesn't like about Zocalo Coffee:
Maybe when we went they were changing the menu, but there were not a lot of options to eat. We ended up ordering two sandwiches (they said they run out of avocado but the sandwiches had avocado inside them). The sandwiches were not something out of the ordinary, normal sandwiches but the green tea was delicious. I had tried in the past some of the toasts and they were delicious, but this time they didn’t have them in... View all feedback.
Quick coffee and hang outSkip: iced dirty chai. For I think 7 dollars you get a pretty standard drink with an extremely strong... idk spicy/gingery after taste that can be quite offensive. It's not the worst thing if you're into that but ofc you gotta be up for it.It's a cute place to hang out with lots of old wooden tables and chairs scattered everywhere. They didn't have AC on this super hot day but it wasn't too bad. Was promptly but nicely asked to leave when it got close to their closing time at 3pm.Drinks: 5/10Service: 7/10Atmosphere: 6/10Value: 5/10

I would have given Zocalo 3 stars, but I was disappointed that they did not accept the Yelp coupon after spending $32 on food. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, and it seemed like they needed more staff to handle the crowd. It took 45 minutes from waiting in line to getting our food. I tried the breakfast sandwich with avocado, which had a sweet hint to the biscuit that I liked. However, the biscuit was too soft and crumbled when I took a bite. As a local resident who enjoys discovering new breakfast spots, I wanted to give Zocalo a try. The restaurant is spacious inside and has outdoor seating, but overall, it wasn't for me.
I've their coffee and avocado toast! Only thing is too dark inside, needs more lights on. However, it is a good coffee place !
We stopped in for brunch on Memorial Day after a hike and it definitely hit the spot. The avocado toast was delicious and they weren't skimpy on the avocado! Yum. I ordered an earl grey tea and my friend had a coffee. Both good. It was busy and there was a wait for the food. They did tell us that when we ordered, but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal. It was a holiday after all. If you're looking for some good eats or coffee/tea, this is a great spot. Lots of locals working on laptops and maybe even some people mixing music. I recommend and would return.
