Main Street Bagels - San Leandro

This is a fantastic bagel spot in San Leandro, California! It's truly the best bagel in the East Bay. They are often quite busy and a bit overwhelmed, but given that it's a family-run business, I completely understand. I wish them all the best!

I ordered a coffee and a jalapeño cheese bagel with butter, but they only gave me the cheese bagel. The place was dirty, and I had to wait a long time to receive my order despite having already paid. When my order was finally ready and I was leaving, one of the staff members embarrassed me by accusing me of not having paid. Thankfully, the lady who took my payment intervened and confirmed that I had indeed paid. However, by that point, the damage was done, and everyone in the place was staring at me.

I really enjoy visiting this place for their bagels and smoothies, and the staff is extremely friendly. However, I often find that the wait can be quite long due to the chaotic atmosphere in the back where they prepare the food.

This place is a mess every day! It's frequently closed, and it seems poorly managed. It's often dirty, and there are long lines due to the lack of staff. Although the bagels are good, this restaurant really needs some serious improvements!

We ordered an egg and cheese croissant, as well as a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Both were delicious! The staff was very attentive and provided quick service. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
