Vietnamese-style Chinese noodle soup. This small restaurant specializes exclusively in chicken dishes, offering both chicken soup and Hainan-style chicken rice. The soup is sweet and flavorful, making it a perfect comfort dish for a cold day. The chicken is tender and cooked just right, not overdone. For those who enjoy organ meats, they also serve liver, gizzards, and other options. View all feedback.
What Colby Hauck doesn't like about Chicken Pho Ga 88 Noodles Soup Rice:
Tried the local pho in the Manor, they do NOT do pho justice. The chicken was terrible. Took a to go order home. When I get home the chicken looked more like duck with no seasoning at all. But when I was paying the chasier was asking for a tip in cash three times. Very unprofessional, a person leaves a tip for gratitude for a good service. Definitely last time coming here. The pho ga is incredibly delicious and flavorful. The prices are great, and the customer service is excellent. This is my go-to spot whenever I crave a hearty bowl of chicken soup. The prices are very reasonable too. The egg rolls were fresh and crispy as well.
The soup here is packed with flavor, and I appreciate the variety of noodle options available. You can choose between boneless or bone-in chicken, and they even offer chicken gizzards, which are quite rare at most places. The fried chicken is also delicious—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The service is consistently fast and excellent, whether you dine in or take out.
Ordered 3 and they asked if I want extra offal. I do and I paid for it but nothing on it. I even tipped even if I ordered for takeout. Never come back.
I've tried this place a few times via DoorDash and online order to go and I've enjoyed the different dishes I've tried so far. Pho Ga is often overshadowed by its beefy big brother, but there are some occasions where I prefer the cleaner taste of the chicken based broth rather than the richer beef pho broth. The broth here is very flavorful while not being too oily and you get a couple different noodle options which I like. I usually get the ho fun noodles because it has the best slurp ability of all the options. Each of their noodle soups comes with this ginger scallion sauce that's also super tasty to dip your chicken in. Besides their noodle soups, I've also tried their crispy chicken rice dish. The skin on the chicken was very crispy and the chicken was pretty moist overall. Not sure if I'd go here specifically for the chicken rice dish but it's a good option if you end up eating here but don't feel like a soup. If you like Pho but haven't tried chicken pho, I'd say give this place a shot.
