traditional restaurant of bologna on the hills outside of bologna (20 minutes drive from the center), where they find typical bolognese house made eating. I highly recommend the typical cessina with soft cheese and prosciutto. book them in advance as the opening times are limited View all feedback.
What Atmosphere doesn't like about Trattoria Croara:
Liked, the food which was good but not exceptional despite it 's authenticity. Perhaps it 's that we don 't 'get ' Trattoria which can be charming but in this case we found it noisy and cafeteria like. We came in at first looking for directions to our accommodation, I 'm guessing our poor Italian was to blame but the chap at front of house (which is also a Tabac) was brusque to the point of rudeness. Io e mia moglie da anni veniamo qui. Non so come facciano: migliora quantità e qualità dell'offerta. Certo è che la gestione da generazione a generazione è familiare ma non basta. Noi continuiamo a venire e la consideriamo la nostra preferita. Per non parlare della simpatia e professionalità di chi svolge il servizio in sala. Rosanna Beppe.
