What John L doesn't like about Playa Hermosa:
The food arrived lukewarm, fries were cold. The waiter wanted to reheat fries instead of asking kitchen to provide a new portion, no solutions for our complaints. Portions of rice, vegetables and tostones were small. View all feedback.
Very pretty beach, worth the drive. It is a private beach so $3 per person. Food/drinks are more expensive than is typical.
Great bar and restaurant here on this amazing Beach!! Lots of seating..beach chairs and hammocks. Friendly staff

We had a great day at Playa Hermosa, yes you have to pay $3 to enter but the beach is beautiful, clean and the amenities make it so you are comfortable the whole time plus they have WiFi. We with our dog explored the beach for a few kilometers and felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The food was tasty and the drinks nice and strong. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the moment.
Beautiful location, good service and a great beach for surfing or any other watwr activity. And the best sunsets!
