I am a well travelled person and I do appreciate good coffee (but Italian style not american nor peruvian styles) and I must say that their capuccino is as good as in Italy (and better than in most European countries) - that is no surprise as the owner (now deceased) has developped his own peruvian coffee mixture with a homemade italian roasting process (and coffee lovers know how this process is essential for tasty... Went for a late breakfast with my wife. This was our first time there and we expected a nice coffe and some good sandwiches. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. The coffee was not good at all, same with the food. Wouldn't go back. View all feedback.
We went for Sunday morning breakfast and ordered the American breakfast with fried eggs and bacon (Canadian round style thinly sliced), and the more Peruvian (Lima) breakfast sandwich (more a lunch style sandwich). Both Breakfasts included juice, a hot beverage and the food itself, and everything was very tasty. Service was very good, the prices were very reasonable, and the cappuccino was also very good. There just wasn't anything surprising about the breakfast... nothing special about the plates on them menu and nothing spectacular about what we ate. Just a good valued breakfast.
This place really is something special. I can't comment on the coffee but the pizzas and pastas are excellent. They taste authentic and are delicious every time. Also, they serve San Mateo and not that San Luis recycled water. Service can be slow when it's busy, but at this place it's still worth going. Best restaurant I've been to in Lima. Just be careful about Friday nights there's some kind of karaoke thing which is deafeningly loud.
I love espressos. This one it 's ok but very far from a perfect shot . It has a nice atmosphere but the place doesn 't looks clean, it has a stange smell. It should smell like coffee as any great coffee shop.
Several times during our visit to Lima. Great delicious soups, WONDERFUL salads and grilled fish. Excelent Pasta. The food is very well prepared and the ingredients are of excellent quality. It's tasty without being overwhelming. Really recommended.
At 3:00 p.m., pizza was the right dish. The service is unbeatable.... We were often there and never disappointed
