I had very high expectations. I mean, I've been to Lima six times. I know how good restaurants are in Lima and I love sushi, I had never been to Edo, so I had to go. I did and I regret it. This restaurant is really let down by the staff and booking policies. First off the sushi is OK, not the best, not the worst but nothing to write home about. Compared to other local sushi places the climate is nice, quiet, air conditioned and well laid out. That said the staff are really rude. This place is busy and it’s difficult to book. You arrive and leave your name, are given an approximate time, then you have to wait outside in a stone seating area until your name is called. As their estimated waiting time is is awfully inaccurate if you don’t wait in their seating area you miss your slot if called. In this area you can’t buy drinks or use the restroom. The staff really can’t be bothered, I guess as the place is busy they can afford this. The pricing is reasonable to expensive. All in all I wouldn’t go back. It was an average experience ruined by a non functional booking system and rude abrupt staff. My tip visit the newer sushi place around the corner O’Hashi Maki. It’s let down by the fact it’s outside and the tables are a little high but the sushi is great and inexpensive.
We enjoyed our lunch here. The interior and exterior seats are available. I had noodles with tofu and onions. As tasteful as it was, it was somewhat oily, although the part was great. The staff was friendly and the service was great.

La comida deliciosa, merece la pena hacer un gran viaje para venir aquí. El auténtico sabor nikkei.
El mejor de todos sin lugar a dudas, los makis son caros pero buenos.
