We have enjoyed several different meals here all were fresh and flavorful. Also the house Margarita is one of the best I've had. The service is top rate and the atmosphere is romantic. It is hard to find, but worth the effort! View all feedback.
What bill o doesn't like about Jamon:
Bar Jamón had closed their San Juan Cosalá location permanently at least a year ago, and had opened another in Ajijic. It has now closed permanently as well, being replaced by Lucky Bar. View all feedback.

Que lugar tan hermoso y delicioso en SJC! Me encanto la onda mediterránea. Me recordó a las cavas en Napa. Me encantaría para una fiesta privada.
We had dinner for four here Saturday night. It was a totally excellent experience. It has only been open four months. They serve a Mediterranean style menu. We had baby squid in squid ink appetizer and breaded calamares appetizer both of which were very generous portions. Four of us shared one of each. Three of us had octopus for our main event and one had pasta. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and well flavoured. For desert we shared the profiteroles with chocolate filling and the chocolate volcano, both served with a quenelle of raspberry sorbet. A most delicious meal at a readable price. Not cheap but very reasonless for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant is very warm and comfortable with lots of arched ceilings. A guitarist played soft Spanish style jazz in the background. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
