We were happy with our stay! the free risotto and the passions fruit (cocktail) sample. the breakfast for the guests is a super sweet tasty bite. nice staff. and gave us additional kisses for bed. open aired verandah is a bonus!
My boyfriend and I wanted to have dinner at a high end restaurant and this place did not disappoint. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and took the time to give us a great experience. We had the calamari and he let us try the mushroom risotto, both were incredible. My boyfriend ordered the red snapper and I had the salmon, they were reasonably priced and cooked perfectly, we each had a side of the garlic Yucca. I can't say enough how wonderful our experience was in this place. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the coconut flan was life changing, and the service was impeccable. Definitely check this place out.
Great free mini-cocktail. The pasta is decent. The Caesar salad was ok. Taquitos were great. Prices were reasonable. The service was cheerful. The decor is pleasant and not loud.
This place is fantastic. I’m just being critical. It seems confused and chaotic. However the fact that the food is as good as it is is amazing. The grouper was cooked perfectly. The skirt steak was appetizer was charred perfectly at medium rare. The shrimp was loaded with garlic. And the filet was delicious. Very large portion. Love the plantains and the cocktails were awesome.
I came to the restaurant on 1/31/18 to find the restaurant empty. Not just customers, but staff. I stood inside for 10 minutes and no one came out. I left that night and decided to try it tonight 3/13/18. My server was Charles and he was OK . I ordered the Lobster Risotto appetizer and was served Orzo with Alfredo sauce and 5 pieces of lobster mixed in the orzo. This plate could have been served as an entrée with as much orzo there was. No flavor from lobster Chef-use lobster stock and risotto with some lobster in the risotto and a piece on top for presentation just as suggestion . When I confronted Charles, he said they ran out from the hurricane and started using orzo! OMG, they serve risotto one block away. The Churrasco steak was bland. The Chimichurri was all oil and the beans tasted canned or could have just been really unseasoned . The Churrasco is better at the three closest places and at least $5 less. My $6 flan to go was about one spoonful. My suggestion to an up and coming chef. As you open multiple restaurants, visit them, look at your reviews and keep your standards . Get rid of those that don 't hold your standards. My pictures of what was called risotto, a very under average Churrasco and a $6 bite of Flan. I am sure this restaurant will be closed in the next 3 months. Came back again on 4/27/19 and there is no rissoto! Dont put rissoto on the menu and serve Orzo.
