Taberna Medalla - San Juan

Great location by the ocean in Candado, with ocean breezes and relaxed ambiance. Casual vibe, but with beautifully presented food and friendly service.

The wait for the food was pretty long but the server was extremely friendly and the view was fabulous so we really didn’t mind. It didn’t appear as though there were any issues in the kitchen so I’m wondering if the wait is intentional so patrons can relax and enjoy the evening.

The restaurant offers a creative menu and delicious food, especially considering its unassuming appearance from the outside. The staff was accommodating to our large group, and the service was impressive given that we had 24 people. Overall, it’s a great option for a relaxed night out with friends or family.

I visited La Taberna Medalla with visiting family, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal! Chef Esteban Ito Muñiz truly shines; he provided excellent attention, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxed dinner with friends.
