El Herradero was highly recommended by our new friend "Ishmael" and he was 100% right. The food and service are superb and we enjoyed everything. It's a quality and quantity experience, you'll leave full and happy. We'll be back. View all feedback.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch here, escaping the summer heat under the cool shade of their large palapa. The prices were fairly steep for lunch (there is only one menu), but would be reasonable for a nice dinner. The food was delicious, with molcajetes in super-hot stone bowls, fresh-made salsa, and tortillas being prepared as we watched. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, and the waitresses were friendly and very tolerant of our poor Spanish.
The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were very attentive. My husband and I visited about 2pm on a Wednesday. It was not very busy but it did begin to fill up the closer it got to 430pm.Be warned though, the food is not cheap. If money is not an issue then this restaurant overlooking the water is perfect! I would definitely recommend trying the corn ice cream too!

We had various stone dishes, with chicken, shrimps and fish. They were all deliciuos. We had also a good guacamole and the hot cheese. If you go with kids, in this place you cannot find the traditional mexican food, such as quaesadilla or fajitas.
This place was recommended by our taxi driver. Had a wonderful meal for a fair price, with great service. Don't miss out on the Queso Fundido and the Molcahete! Highly recommended.
