Cocina Casera - San José del Cabo

The Cadillac Margarita is the best margarita anywhere. The service is great. You can choose the buffet (which is outstanding) or order off the menu. They serve breakfast and dinner.

We were celebrating our 54th Wedding Anniversary at the Westin Cabo. This restaurant and its staff were wonderful to us. Food was very good especially the fresh caught fish of the day. And the view is lovely overlooking the sea of Cortez.On our anniversary the morning staff remembered us with complimentary champagne, how thoughtful and special!We love this hotel, the staff and the food . You won't be disappointed.Thank you

We started with outstanding wine selection. Our waiter Joel Cerna suggested Cabernet from Mexico called CASA MADERO. I have been all over the world drinking wines; and, this one ranks with the top Bordeau or Italian reds. My wife had a California Chardonnay by Rodney Strong. We both started with salads. We had their QUINOA Ensalada CC; and it was especially delicious. For my entree I had PASTA DE MARISCOS; or Pasta with all kinds of seafood. I had shrimps, octopus, mussels, etc. It was GOURMET DINING AT ITS BEST! My wife had Th Salmon with many vegetables tempura. She said the salmon was fresh and delicious! I had chocolate ice cream for dessert. My wife had lemon sorbet.Our waiter Joel Cerna was sharp, quick; and, very professional. His English was better than mine. Try this outstaning restaurant in the WESTIN HOTEL in San Jose del CABO. You will be amazed how great the view is, as well as the great food.Sincerely,Ed Altman Jr.
