earlier to go to this place before it went vegan and continue this now. I love the decor, service and the rising vegan options that this place offers. as a person Indian origin, I am more critical for Indian places than other kitchens, but love the fusion take curry now offers. I think they have the best vegan samosas in the bay. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Curry Up Now:
Went for dinner. Wanted to give this Indian fusion place a try. Being a lover of fusion food, I felt the taste was a bit lacking. Granted it had a good ambience especially with the robo waiters and mobile orderings (mostly no touch covid stuff), the food was a tad bit expensive for the amount that was offered. No way that amount of food costs so much. Some foods tasted better than the others, like bhel puri and thali... View all feedback.

It is easy to order everything and make it vegan here. I love the aromes!
Really just a boring place. The food was fine, but I wouldn't be back.
Curry Up Now is located a short walk from the 16th St Mission BART station. They have a lot of items on their menu that are labeled vegan so kudos for that. I went with the Hella Vegan Burrito for $10.60 including tax. It comes with a choice of flour or wheat tortilla, turmeric fenugreek white rice or brown rice, and the option to have it as a burrito bowl that includes pickles and pico. The Hella Vegan burrito comes w/ handmade samosa, rice, chana or curried chick peas, onions, and chutneys. I found it to be filling, flavorful, a touch on the spicy side. I can handle spice though. It was also hot temperature wise which is always a good sign. I first came here at around 2pm on a Sunday was nearly packed to capacity so is popular w/ good reason. I returned to have the vegan thali called Peace. Love. Vegan. for $14.65. It came w/ kadhai tofu, aloo gobi, chana masala, a papadum, choice of turmeric fenugreek white rice or brown rice, along w/ two roti. The thali was filling flavorful yet felt it could be stepped up a notch. Perhaps adding a vegan raita or even soy yogurt along w/ a bit of mango pickle that traditional thali have. All in all Curry Up Now is quite alright in my book look forward to future visits here.
Used to go to this place before going vegan and continue doing so even now. I love the decor, service and the increasing vegan options that this place offers. As a person of Indian origin, I am more critical of Indian places than other cuisines, but love the fusion take of Curry up now's offerings. In my opinion they have the best vegan samosas in bay area.
