First place we landed on when we arrived in San Jose and man did we luck out!! The food was super tasty!!! (And I’ll admit, we cook a lot at home and are hard to please when we go out). We came here for an afternoon coffee and pastry, great place, more importantly great service. Everything was delicious and served right. We loved it.
The best cake we had in Costa Rica. Had the carrot cake and the NY cheesecake. They were both beasts. Delicious and creamy, not to mention the huge pieces we were served! Some of the best cakes of their kind, I've ever tried. The Frío chocolate was also delicious and creamy. In addition, the environment is cool and low. Go and get appetite.
I was looking for a chill place to have a small meal on my own and this place was perfect. The hummus was great and the strawberry lemonade was HEAVENLY. I'm not exaggerating when I say they have the BEST strawberry lemonade I've ever tasted. The staff was super friendly and attentive.
