Local company café for VTA, also open to the public. You have a daily special, on Tuesday orange chicken is a hit! Breakfast is very affordable and service is prompt, you can also call and order before. The salad bar is fully equipped with Romaine and mixed greens. View all feedback.

Bending machines available after Cafeteria is closed, great option in a pinch!
This is an absolutely rare find in the Bay Area. Reliable breakfast and lunch options (under $10 from October 2018) and nothing to complain about the quality of meals. Minimalist No-Frills Café for a quick bite.
I've been looking for a reasonably priced lunch spot since Kerrie's Kafe closed. River Oaks Cafe has earned it's place as my new go-to lunch spot. You can get an amazing lunch for less than $10. I ordered the Hot Pot Bi Bim Bop special (pictured). It had a good amount of veggies, nice chunks of meat, and an egg! And all that food was just $8.14 with tax. It was tasty and satisfying. The other nice thing is that there is ample parking and seating. The restaurant is tricky to find. You navigate to the VTA headquarters, turn right, then make the first left into the visitor parking lot (there are a whole bunch of 3 hour parking signs). From the parking lot, you'll see a path that leads to a little bridge on the west side of the lot. Follow it, you'll see a VTA entrance for Building C, and then you turn left, and you'll find a door for the ROC. There is another entrance, but I think this is the easiest way to find this hidden gem. After you know where it is, you'll be back for the yummy food, friendly service, and reasonable prices.
