What User doesn't like about Tandoori Oven:
This is the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to. When I arrived, the host instructed me to order first and pay at the door. The payment process was confusing. View all feedback.
Love this place! I come here every time I visit san jose. great food, fast service, very friendly staff. the portions are not very large and sometimes the aromes are a bit exaggerated.
Looking for an Americanized Indian Restaurant? This is your place. Not much heat or spice. Dine-in service is very slow. Has vegetarian dishes too. #KidFriendly — Has high chairs, but no diaper changing table in the women’s restroom. Street Parking only. Offers take out via calling in or using the Munch app.
The butter chicken was so heavily spiced I took two bites and stopped, the nann was ok, but you really had to tear into it. The staff was kind and attentive, which was the saving grace of this place. Also, beware, when you pay with a card, you are REQUIRED to add a tip. You aren't able to just put a zero then give one after service.
Worst food ever. The food was old and not fresh at all. Everything looked dirty and disgusted me. It felt like they were serving the food from last week .only naan looked fresh . when I was about to leave. I saw chef coming out from kitchen while picking his nose . Yuck! Never going there again.
Very disappointed. I was looking forward to having Indian food , during my stay in the city and walked the ten minutes from my hotel, but even though banner says all you can eat buffet from 11-2, when I arrived at 12 they said buffet would not be available till 1:00. I did not order anything off the menu because I didn’t want to reward their bad behavior. I left and had tacos around the corner instead.
