Tacomania (coleman Ave) - San Jose

Authentic Taco Truck by far the best I had. I'm from Oakland and all Tacos trucks are delicious. I can't say the same for San Jose Santa Clara. It was extremely difficult to find a good Taco truck here. Promoted I came here suspended, but nevertheless their quality of food and taste meets the point. I appreciate that the Carne Asada is actually Asada! They are open on Sundays! Definitely recommend.

Chicken Nachos, Carnitas Tacos and Carne Asada Quesadilla. The nachos were all I could photograph! Good food at the right price! BT2 WORK Nachos could feed 2-4 people. Friendly staff too!

Tacomania is fine. I assume they thrive on the comfort factor, place and hours. It has potential to be better, but so far it's just okay. Nothing special. I like the salsa, it tastes fresh as it was just made. The disadvantage is the pricing on the menu; Tacomania is a bit on the expensive side for mediocre foods. There are several Taquerias ca. 10 minutes by car, which are far better... With all the competition in the Tacomania area, only a better value or absolutely excellent dishes have to offer. At the moment it's not about the two. I found the Super-Tacos are the only thing on the menu that is a value. They are a bit bigger than regular tacos and taste the same. Super Burrito 3/5 I have a Tripas Super Burrito... it came to almost $15. It was just... I asked for extra Crispy Tripas...and thought it wasn't. I think I'm staying with my standard... Taqueria Lorena's. I remember now why I don't stop here anymore...

I like the idea of fast Mexican food restaurant stand that serves mostly tacos, however these tacos are extremely fresh with quality cooked meat... Price is alright. Veggie burgers and meat/cheese quesadillas are on the side as well. I always get my orders on time and the staff is pretty friendly.
