Bruuuh Pho Kim Long got No Music, $15 for Oxtail Pho (with 5 pieces of bones), inside is cold af, limited Sauces. On the other hand, this place got modern music, HELLA meat for $13 pho.... What is the dilemma, come HERE ****. View all feedback.
What Jimmy D doesn't like about Phở Thiên Hương:
Got #71 and portion was huge. Wish they would just lower the prices and give a smaller portion instead. The pork was on the sugary wide. Shrimp on sugar cane was cooked perfectly. Crispy shrimp thing was a bit over fried. They also were playing some Vietnamese edm which was a bit too much for a Sunday lunch. View all feedback.
5 stars review for taste, price point, and presentation on the $13 large bowl of Pho Dac Biet. I came here many times in the past, but today's experience really stands out. This place has gotten so much better compared to previous years. Wow, so many violations? They didn't do a good job passing health inspections for sure. It is still a place worth visiting again. Plus, there's always parking in the lot now when less people are out enjoying long lunches. Honest Good Eats. I Haven't Found A Very Good Tasting Excellent Quality $13 USD Pho Dac Biet/Combination Large Size Bowl In A Very Long Time. Yes, A Very Large Size Bowl Packed With Ingredients At $13. Today, After 2:00 PM Pacific Time, I Only Have Great Things To Write About This One Old Place Which Has Been Upgraded Now That Totally Surprised Me. Each Flank Of Meat Was Carefully Sliced To Perfection, Shapes And Sizes. Chewy, Soft, And Tender. Fats Were Skinned Off. Generous Portions. Meat And Noodle Textures Were Excellent. Flavors Of Ingredients Were On Target. Summer Rolls Were Beautifully Passionately Wrapped. Even The Salty Plum Soda Was Excellent. Condiments Were Clean And Fresh. Every Bite Into The Foods Gave Off The Perfect Munch Crunch. Super Clean Environnement. Quick And Efficient Staff. The Pandemic Destroyed Quality At Most Businesses For Sure. If You Are Going To Pay During High Inflation Times, Buy Cheap And Pay For The Best One(s) On The Market. Compared To $15-$18 USD Per Bowl In The Area These Days, The Higher Quality $13 Large Bowl Of Pho Dac Biet Really Does Stand Out. I ate inside most Pho places in San Jose and Milpitas for the past 15 years and counting. This is not a super huge restaurant, but the set up is super modern and clean now. Staff knows their roles very well here. No lines or crowds after 1:45 PM on a working Monday. Accepts credit cards. Pay up in the front. In my opinion, this is the best one for a $13 large size Pho Dac Biet in the area. You won't find this price point and quality elsewhere. Get your money's worth.
Double check your order before leaving the store. These guys messed up my order twice. Typical Viet restaurant with poor service.
This place is a favorite because it's never packed like the other one but taste just the same. Went here to eat it and I haven't had it in a while and it hits the same. Com tam thien huong is what the others are named but I'm not sure why it's named pho thien huong but they all taste the same even with a slightly different name. The price has gone up a lot. I think before the pandemic it was $18 for the special and now it's $22. The reason why I gave it 4/5 is because of the music that someone decided to play that day. Someone who works there decided to play their edm club mix through the store. It was so loud and there was so much bass that I got a headache. Traditionally I'll hear soft medium volume Vietnamese love songs but today was not the case. I thought I was back at the clubs in Saigon. I had to eat fast and leave. It's either that or I'm getting too old for these places haha.
Our go to spot for pho and rice plates. In a plaza close to where we live so it's convenient to get to. We are never disappointed with pho or rice plates.
Service: ok cleanliness: good grilled shrimp and pork over vermicelli $18 good pho well done brisket $13 poor. The meat was tough like a sliced kitchen sponge
