If you like mochi then you need to give this place a shot. It's not exactly the usual mochi, but they are really good. They are mochi with cream/fruit filling versus the bean paste. The taste is amazing, but the only drawback is that they come frozen and you have to wait a bit before eating them. Still, mighty tasty, just have to wait a bit before eating.
The first time we had Mochicream was when we were in Japan so it is always brings back great traveling memories when we venture to SJ and can get some Mochicream shipped directly from Japan. Perfectly located inside Mitsuwa, it's always nice to be able to do our groceries shopping along w/ picking up a box of Mochicream. : Definitely don't expect the traditional flavors you are use to finding at other manju shops. Like it's name, Mochicream offers mochi filled with different cream flavor fillings instead of bean paste. It's a nice refreshing twist to what we are use to growing up and they make great gifts, I love the box it always comes in. Some of my favorite flavors includes caramel pudding, raspberry Mille-feuille, peach yogurt, and caramel macchiato. For ice cream mochi, we also like tiramisu, chocolate mint, and cookie marshmallow. They also offer mochido from time to time which is their version of mochi donuts. It's been around for years, way before the mochi donut craze but unfortunately, these seem to be more delicate to ship from Japan. Enjoy!
The mochi creams are amazing. They thaw like they are fresh and so soft mochi dough. There is very good flavor of the filling without being overly sweet. $2-3 each which I think is a little pricey but worth the treat splurge and great quality that is hard to come by in the bay.
I have been to this Mitsuwa before and have picked up sushi and other sundries. I should have paid more attention because that would have brought me here sooner. Mochiceam is the real deal. Double mango and peach mochi FTW.

Don't let the price deter you from trying the most amazing mochi.
