Malibu Grill Bbq - San Jose

I love Malibu! I'm pretty skeptical of most restaurants, but was pleasantly surprised by the incredible service, delicious BBQ, and I was able to watch the game and enjoy myself. To say the food is good is an understatement, the first time that I went into I had the brisket and it was to die for and incredibly tasteful, I also had the smoked Marien chicken, which with the sauce you give is incredible, not to mention, all sides are really good. I was back several times and I must say every menu item is great and the staff is so friendly and attentive! Malibu Grill is definitely THE PLACE TO BE!! A RECOMMENDATION!

This place looks unpredictable from the outside. You go in and you're surprised again, how big it is. It has a sports field vibe with a separate bar and small selection of beers on tap. Used to go here all the time, loved it. Was very disappointed with our service tonight. When I called our order in the girl who I spoke with was very rude. I ordered a chicken Philly and specifically asked for it to not be on the bread and just have the filling. Got home and it was the whole sandwich and the bread was totally burnt. I ordered chicken tenders as well snd they were completely burnt and not edible. This was just very disappointing as I got this for take out and was not able to make it back in time before closing and now I?m not even able to eat my dinner. Not sure if we would go back again after this.

Have been here several times since they reopened under new ownership. New menu is great, pizza, burgers, and now BBQ and Smoked meats.
