This place continues to be my go to for a Mexican dessert. Been coming to La Original since 2017 and it's been consistent with my usual and favorite picks. There menu has definitely increased in size and items which can be overwhelming to decide but I'm glad they have pictures now! Owners and staff are always friendly and prompt. Parking though is a nightmare during the busy weekday hours and weekends. View all feedback.

I got the guava and strawberries crème scoops in a cup. The servings here are VERY generous. (I didn?t have the appetite to finish) The guava had less flavor than expected and the seeds made it less enjoyable to eat (although giving a freshly homemade vibe). View all feedback.

Best Mexican Paleteria in San José!If you come on the weekends they usually have a big line but weekdays are more empty.They have a variety of ice creams and paletas, my favorite is coco de agua and Fresa. They also have a lot of Mexican chips that you can ask to add in your snacks.
A little downtown side but has parking! They only take cash so bring some. So much things to try but loved what we had! Ordered some mangonadas and fruit with tajin.
This place is always amazing for some Mexican antojitos. Ice-cream, elote, Esquites, nachos, fresas con crema. Great local joint to satisfy all your dessert needs
