This is a place I've been wanting to check out. When our son said he was taking me here for my birthday I was very excited. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be good, but we'll say they exceeded my expectations with the quality and flavors of the food and cocktails. It was a wonderful evening from the greeting at the door, table service, ambience, and tasty meal. I ordered the Hungarian goulash and it was all ar... View all feedback.
Naschmarkt is a gem of a restaurant that beautifully blends classic German flavors with modern touches. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. The manager (or possibly the sommelier) came over to recommend some fantastic wine pairings for our table, which really elevated the entire experience. The wait staff was equally impressive, clearing our plates promptly after the appetizers and bringing out all of our entrées at the same time--a detail that doesn't go unnoticed. They were also knowledgeable and provided excellent suggestions throughout the meal. As for the food, the classic schnitzel was a standout. The breading was crispy, light, and perfectly seasoned, making every bite incredibly satisfying. I also absolutely loved the sausage trio appetizer, which offered a great variety of flavors. And let's not forget the pretzel appetizer--served with a creamy cheese dip that was a huge hit at the table. Overall, Naschmarkt delivered an exceptional dining experience, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
We were super impressed from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by both a server and the host, and seated right away. Had heard for a while now that this place was amazing, So we finally decided to see for ourselves. It's hard to believe they've been open for 13 years and we had never visited until now. We looked over the menu and decided on our orders, but after hearing the specials, we couldn't resist trying them. We started with bangers and sauerkraut and a stone fruit salad. For the main course, I opted for the beef stroganoff while my wife chose the pork schnitzel. Every dish was fantastic! And of course, we couldn't finish on such a high note without dessert. The dessert menu was too tempting to pass up and since our boys weren't with us, it was hard to just choose 1. So we ordered the apple strudel and soufflé. I'm so glad we did because they were absolutely delicious! It's been a long time since we've been to a restaurant where every dish was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Thanks to the entire team for a wonderful dining experience especially our server Jonathan!
My husband and I went here when we were in town visiting his family. We both really enjoyed our cocktails and meals. Our server was very attentive and helpful. The portions were quite large. The meal was very good overall. Highly recommend. The restaurant is pretty small so make a reservation or go when it isn't busy.
Everything was amazing! Must try the homemade pretzel with beer cheese, chives and bacon. Best pretzel I've ever had and the cheese was out of bounds. We split a special entree and I'm not sure of the official name since it wasn't on the menu. See the picture. Portion was large and it was all delicious. Dessert we had peach cobbler. Absolutely phenomenal. Our waiter Joseph F made it fresh earlier that day. It came out piping hot and was plenty for two of us to share. Service was exceptional! We never had a dry glass. All servers, support staff and manager were attentive to all. They do a really nice job here and it's worth every penny. On a weekend, you may want to make a reservation or go early or late. Peak dinner hours will be busy. Very clean. We will go back for sure!
This is a fantastic restaurant with authentic Austrian food, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service. On nice days, you can sit outside and enjoy the weather while you dine. I've been here a few times and usually go for the Hungarian goulash, and for an appetizer, I order the pretzel with cheese sauce and sausage trio. For dessert, you can't beat their apple strudel. It's served hot with ice cream and homemade whipped cream. It's just incredible. Parking is very easy, but I recommend calling in advance for a reservation because they get packed.
