I recently dined at this cozy little restaurant and tried the beef meatball curry, which was delicious. Despite the limited seating, the service was quick and efficient, even during a busy time. I would definitely come back to eat here again in the future. View all feedback.
What Ahmed Ortiz doesn't like about Demiya:
I had a poor experience ordering at this restaurant. I was frustrated by the requirement to register my email and phone number just to order curry. The Katsu Curry had juicy chicken, but the curry itself was mediocre and forgettable. The water cup I received was dirty, indicating poor hygiene practices. The table was sticky as well. Because of these issues, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
Staff was friendly, food was great. If it's busy, be prepared to wait a little for tables to open up. It's open seating after you order at the counter.Food: 5/5
Curry udon with tonakatsu and fried egg. Curry leans on sweeter side for udon, the chicken curry has better mouthfeel and more spice.
It’s a chic concept wannabe with a very inefficient process. Come in to the store and it’s not clear what they are selling. Until you scan a menu on your phone. Then you realize no one takes your order even though there is a cashier standing at the front all the time for whatever reason, and you have to order on the phone. Then you wait 30 minutes for a simple katsu curry rice. Curry should be pretty quick. You fry the meat which takes a few minutes. Curry should be available and so should be rice. There are four people working in the kitchen. It’s beyond me what takes them so long to service the order. At the end you’re expected to clean your table and return your tray. And like every other entitled California chic shop they ask you for a tip when you check out. Their curry needs to taste like heavens to warrant this wait. And I know curry that tastes better than what’s served in this chain store.
