The food quality is great, and I really enjoy the sauce! This restaurant operates as a self-serve establishment similar to In-N-Out, so don't anticipate a lot of service. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5. View all feedback.
What Jason Lee doesn't like about Demiya:
I cannot with this place. I ordered online ahead and it says the order will be ready in 20 minutes. I went in, and WAITED 1 HOUR. I saw people came in after I did, and got their food faster. I checked with the person three times, and they wouldn’t even call out my name when it was ready. My food was just sitting on the counter for like 5 minutes. Service is bad.Food is good. But it’s not worth the 1 hour wait time. View all feedback.
Don’t go, terrible service ever!!! We ordered online, waited many hours and never got the food. No emails, no texts, no answers to the phone calls. We went to the store after three hours waiting for nothing and only found out the store has already closed!! We asked for the refund, and the manager told us “you don’t come here anymore.”
Ordered online never get the confirmation or any estimated waiting time. Be on-site about 30 mins after and ask them when the order will be ready they said they don't know... Waited another 20 min and canceled the order eventually
Decent Japanese style curry with katsu (fried pork) and fried chicken.
We picked up at the weekend at 17:30. the restaurant did not seem particularly crowded, but it seemed a lot of accusations based on the number of tickets that seemed the kitchen and the number of people waiting to get food. the kitchen seemed quite secure, and there was not someone at the front who informed people about how much more time orders would take. we waited 30 minutes longer than expected, which was super annoying, but beside this, the eating was still delicious and the restaurant itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere. if not for the long waiting time, this place would be quite perfect with its unique and tasty curry and juicy, crispy tonkatsu. TL;DR delicious, must-try tonkatsu (pork cutlet) but waiting for eating was long for picking up.
Came by for the inside. the place was mostly empty. wait 50 minutes for the order. No one could say how long it would take (also wait after 50 minutes.) during this time a crew of 5 (or more) delivered very few online orders. the order was deleted; the manager had not even had to offer a compensation, but only sad to say that such inability and bad service are not worthy, even a single star. they lost 2 curry loving customers.
