Get there between 5 6 PM and you avoid some of the crowds which makes for good service. You can get Crawdads in 4 pound bags with optional sausage and corn soaking in the same bag. The fried catfish with fries are delicious. Wonderfully delicious andfun place to eat.

Went here a few months ago so this is late: HOW ARE YOU NAMED CRAWDADDY and you have NO CRAWFISH in the middle of the day? Then deliver soggy overly-fishy tasting seafood options that are pebble sized (oysters) and rubbery (fried fish with missingcoating). Yup fasho Overcharged and highly dissatisfied.

Ordered twice as takeout from this place. The shrimp is pretty fresh, good taste and well packaging. Will come back again

I have been to several boiling crab restaurants in Fountain Valley and Southern California, where the 'California Crab franchise' originated. I have eaten a lot of crabs at these places and wanted to compare Crawdaddy to other establishments like Boiling Crab and The Cajun Corner. One major difference is the long wait times at Boiling Crab, which can lead to poor service and delays in getting your food. However, Crawdaddy had no wait time at all, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the mild shrimp at Crawdaddy and enjoyed the sauce, although it wasn't as flavorful as 'The Whole Shebang'. The shrimp sauce was less thick than Boiling Crab's sauce, but still tasted good. The cajun fries were tasty, especially when dipped in tartar sauce or ketchup, but they weren't as crispy as Boiling Crab's fries. The quantity of food was generous and I couldn't finish everything. The service at Crawdaddy was excellent, with attentive and friendly servers who made sure my water glass was always full. I believe good service is essential in a restaurant, and the servers at Crawdaddy did a great job. Overall, I paid $20 for 1 pound of shrimp, fries, and tip, and was satisfied with my experience at Crawdaddy.
