If you have quesabirria, I will find you! ?? Was excited to see I could get my current obsession down at...my local mall now? It's a good deal and always tasty, especially with that bottle of coke. The lady I see most often there is always nice and seems to have a good local customer base and or family dropping by, as many will stand and talk with her longer than just ordering their food. Think I'll stop by today, my... View all feedback.
What Ashley Sosa doesn't like about California Pizza Kitchen At Oakridge Mall:
The quesabirrias were pretty good. The tortas were only okay cold despite them having taken several minutes toasting the bolillos, non spicy jalapeños, and lots of fat in the carne asada despite them having just come out. Lucy's is just down the street and has way better tortas meat. The lady helping us had an attitude from the moment we arrived to when we left, not just with us but with several other customers as wel... It was a pleasant meal. both dishes were tasteful. it was my first attempt on the chicken piccata. the chicken was moist and the part was surprisingly filled. I've filled myself with the spinach artichoke dip, another favorite dish of me. we also tried the jambalaya, it is the right amount of spiciness for me. large portion garnel and huh.
Good pizzas and salads. The bar area is nice but not very big. Atmosphere is nice but can get noisy. My only issue is that they keep raising their prices. Everything now is about $20 a dish. I really don't think a thin crust personal pizza is worth $18.
Located in Oakridge Mall so parking can get a bit tricky at times. The restaurant entrance is on the outside of the mall.Service was good and quick. They have several gluten free options for pizzas. Most pizzas can be made on a gluten free crust or you can order pre-assembled gluten free pizza to minimize cross contamination. Decent selection of cocktails and drinks.
The food was good. We had the California Cobb salad and the shrimp scampi zucchini. But for a late lunch, it took a while to get seated.
Decent chain restaurant, large open area with many booths for nice comfort. Many food options to choose from. All four of us ordered salad as an entree. The place filled in throughout the evening. Not my first choice, but decent for a small group.
