It's been a while since my last visit to this place, so I was quite surprised to walk in and see that the cups no longer adorned the walls, and the menu had changed... View all feedback.
What Sean Ernser doesn't like about Breakfast Place:
under new management. this place is totally disgusting. I was always here. her salsa was old and butter was called. How did they get rancid butter? How is it possible? I almost tasted butter! this place will not last. adios breakfast place View all feedback.
This place is awesome. Super friendly greeting and quick service with smiles from every employee. Food was fantastic. Biscuits and gravy are to die for, eggs poached perfectly and fresh house made sausage was phenomenal. Coffee is delicious and they have French vanilla creamer which is a great touch. Good value and cute place. Hole in the wall of a tiny shopping center but for real, give it a try. It's so good.
Service is friendly and attentive. Christina is charming and big hearted. Food is well prepared but unadorned, They could learn about that from The Breakfast Club whose food is inferior and more expensive but much prettier. Maybe: fruit, Italian Parsley, some chopped basil, etc. Coffee is better than average and refills are frequent. Mix of single serve creamers (both half and half non-dairy) is thoughtful. Refried beans were lukewarm and cheese wasn 't melted. Green chili was tasty and tortillas were nice and steamy. Eggs were cooked as ordered. Some jam to accompany the bread would be nice. Looking forward to coming back soon.
We went after seeing this restaurant on restaurant impossible. I ordered Chile verde chiliquillas the beans were cold but when I mixed everything together it was hot. The flavors were good and the staff was very attentive and friendly.
This no frills breakfast restaurant has a nice family feel to it. The staff are direct and friendly with guests and each other. The food is tasty, if a little plain. We had the waffle with pecans and the blueberry pancakes. You can add two eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage to any waffle, pancake, or French toast order. We added one scrambled eggs and bacon, and one over easy eggs and bacon. Both eggs were prepared exactly as requested, with the bacon extra crispy (per our request). The batter used for the waffle and the pancakes appeared to be the same. It was light and fluffy, without much flavor. The pancakes had plenty of blueberries mixed into the batter. The pecan waffle didn't have pecans in the waffle, but rather sprinkled on top (just pecan halves...not toasted or anything). Despite the friendly staff, I probably wouldn't return intentionally, but if in the area and I needed breakfast, I'd go again.
Tourist review: hole in the wall place, boyfriend picked it because of the Yelp photos. Super good, everything is well flavored and staff is nice, fast, and very efficient (they seem like they work really well together. would recommend before going to Winchester house or if in the area.
