Finally FINALLY had the chance to try here! Dang. We will come back as often as possible! Cheese stuffed fried olives, escargot, scallops, mussels and every single bite was delicious! We popped in on a Wednesday evening no reservation happened to be in Willow Glen we could not have had a better experience. Our server, Dani, was so attentive, sweet, and quick extremely good service I was very impressed. Loved the vibe... View all feedback.
What Maldonado doesn't like about Black Sheep Brasserie:
A neighborhood gem. Free easy to find parking, popular laid back area near transit the center of town, inviting contemporary decor, friendly efficient staff prompt service. Most important the food is very good. The salad was delicious, appeared simple, but had wonderful layers of flavor. Similarly, the hamburger was not much more than the paddy the bun but was moist and one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had (... View all feedback.
The service here was one of the best experiences I had. The waiters were very thoughtful of freezing and cutting the cake I bought.Food: 5/5
Great restaurant with chill vibes, spacious interiors and a nice outdoor patio. The wine selection is good and the food is excellent.Don’t skip the panna cotta as dessert ?Food: 5/5
Black Sheep Brasserie is a fancy looking restaurant that is still dressed up but not beyond fancy for a dinner out. The location has parking spots reserved for visitors right to the East of the building, so no need to park farther away. It is only an 8 minute drive from downtown San Jose. We thought that the bread was a 3/5 as it was hard and tasted a bit old for the price. The gnocchi, however, was definitely a 5/5 and tasted great, though a little burnt on some pieces. Wished that the dish was a little bigger for the price though. Would definitely make an effort to visit again.
This restaurant is a cozy and luxurious place to enjoy some signature French cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic, with soft lighting and soothing music. The food is delicious and refined, with a variety of dishes to suit every palate. The presentation is impeccable and the taste is divine. The staff are attentive and professional, always ready to cater to your needs and preferences. The prices are reasonable for the quality and experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves French food or wants to try something new and elegant.
The food here is excellent. The duck breast was well prepared. I noticed however that the waiters were in a rush to take the plates away while we were eating. So we had to ask them twice not to take the food. For such a nice restaurant it is a given that you would like to enjoy your evening and therefor you do not want to be rushed.
