Super fun experience! House cocktails are experimentally crafted but super delicious! Had the pineapple and basil margarita and the mezcal and cachaça cocktail both of which were perfectly balanced renditions on classic spirits. Food was casual yet super tasty. View all feedback.
What Joshua S doesn't like about 3rd Bourbon:
Kinda eh. I'd probably look for another place. I'm trying to figure out why I feel that way. Servers were nice. Atmosphere was good. Small venue with a good vibe. The location was so-so. Ok for a few folks but not a huge party. View all feedback.

Food was casual yet super tasty, loaded fries were the highlight crispy but swimming in indulgent amounts of cheese. Service was professional but very friendly. I felt welcomed and celebrated on an every day Wednesday night. The bartender and staff obviously know what they're doing.
This spot has improved since the last time I came. Bartenders are skilled and friendly, drinks are well crafted, food menu is delicious. A hugeeee variety of bourbon of course. Management is great too! 10/10
Tried this place on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised. I am not familiar with San Jose. Found offsite parking two blocks away. The walk there was a little intimidating in the dark on the side streets but E Santa Clara St is very active and well lit. The cocktails are amazing and great food choices. I would definitely come back when I am in the area.
Wedensday evening, looks like a group of 10- 12 people inside, otherwise empty. Sat outside because we had a dog. It took 30 minutes to get any service whatsoever and another 30 to for any food or beer to come out. We reminded them once or twice politely and tipped 20%. But bacon Sliders were dry. They charge 40 for the steak frites which sounded good but no telling how long that would have taken. They had a bartender and a waiter cooks in the back who couldn't handle both tables. Definitely avoid 3rd and bourbon for dinner.
