Locanda Sant'agata - SAN GIULIANO TERME

Stayed here for our last night in Italy, thought we would have a simple dinner in the restaurant. After reading the menu this wasn't going to happen. Everything we chose was worthy of at least a michelin plate ,definitely one of the best restaurants i...have eaten in . The wait staff were also very good considering there were only three because two were unable to come in at the last minute as we were told later, there's an extensive wine list which could possibly cut down by half as it took longer to choose the wine than it did for the food. If you are in the area , definitely try this restaurant you will be Pleasantly surprised.

We visited it for lunch on a sunday. The restaurant is part of a small country hotel agriturismo) few kilometers from Pisa and Lucca. Our choice was for meat. We had tagliata, perfectly cooked and prepared, and chianina tartar prepared in three different styles. Pasta...was also very well prepared. The pappa al pomodoro tortelli a closed pasta with a tomato inside) were not only original but also very delicate yet tasty. Service was fast and waiters were adequate. Price was about 40 to 45 euros per person. We will return and we will suggest it to friends

Locale eccellente, ben curato, pulito con spaziosi tavolini. La cucina è squisita, con ingredienti freschi e a chilometri zero. Fantastica la selezione di salumi e pecorino con miele locale, seguita da taglieri e patatine come antipasto. I dolci sono una prelibatezza. La posizione è meravigliosa, con tavoli all'aperto immersi nella campagna toscana. Ritengo che possa essere anche una fantastica alternativa come hotel boutique nella zona. Voto 10 e lode!

Bontà e raffinatezza, certamente. tutto delizioso, ben curato, e posizione stratosferica. Congratulazioni, era tutto perfetto. forse un po' di conto salato, ma accettabile per la soddisfazione.

Beautiful place in a quiet opposite, 10-15min drive to pisa. we had a nice room, a bit small, but good for 1 overnight. amazing breakfast and the most wonderful staff who had also given us restaurant recommendations in the night before, all of which were great!. unfortunately we stayed here that day when the restaurant was closed. that was such a grief because it was also the reason why we had chosen this hotel. we have to go back sometime.
