Six of us were famished and we had booked a table for Dinner on line as the place is deserted by nightfall. All six of us complained that the food was substandard. In my case my first course was pasta with boar cheek ragu. It was just eatable also with the pasta overcooked. The next dish I took was steak with potatoes. My wife took braised boar. My steak was overcooked, and had a taste of poorly thawed frozen food. The boar had an after taste of bitterness that I could attribute to poor carcass meat that was not well butchered. For the rest of the eight days we never returned although we had to suffer the so called breakfast that the hotel next door avails itself of through this place.

Ceno al ristorante soggiornando nella struttura. Tavolo sia all'aperto che interni. Ordino il galletto, insalata mista, rosso toscano mezza bottiglia), acqua frizzante ed amaro, costo Galletto senza infamia e senza lode. Servizio professionale e sicuro.
Ci siamo recati presso la sterpaia per una cena tranquilla, dato che soggiornavamo all’hotel adiacente. Ero stata alla sterpaia da bambina e ricordavo una cucina deliziosa che si è riconfermata in questa gestione. Abbiamo preso il tagliere, il tortino di verdure, gli spaghetti di ragù di cinta senese ed i paccheri al cinghiale. Su tutti i piatti abbiamo fatto scarpetta, devo dire di più? :)Il luogo è meraviglioso, immerso nella natura, il ristorante è una trattoria tipica nel verde accanto al maneggio di San rossore. Personale super cordiale e gentile. Torneremo di certo!
Questo è stato l'unico ristorante che ancora non avevo recensito su Sanre e ho colmato questa lacuna in un giorno della settimana di aprile. In breve, come antipasto: polpetta di cinghiale con olive, accompagnata da ragù di cinghiale (parti eccezionali). Come secondi: panini al cinghiale con Vermentino, stufato di cervo con verdure (senza parole!). Acqua, vino della casa, patatine laterali, caffè, il tutto a 78 euro per due persone. Prezzo giusto anche perché non ho pagato. Lo raccomando anche per la posizione. Allego le foto del menù e dello scontrino fiscale. Saluti.
