What an amazing find, we discovered it in the middle of a cycle and just stopped by chance for lunch. Menu was fantastic, even had a special truffle menu, great selection across the board, fantastic daily pasta dishes, friendly service, loved it! The food was decent. But the old lady running the small family business does't have any idea of what hospitality means. Cyclists are NOT welcome. We were two friends on a cycling trip through the extraordinary beauty of Val d'Orcia. It was raining. We were wet. We asked for a third chair in order to put our jackets. An amazing find in a quaint village for lunch. The food, service and ambience was excellent. I definitely recommend this place.
Had an excellent meal here, menu is traditional Tuscan food, many dishes served with truffles. All dishes well prepared with excellent service. Highly recommended and look forward to returning next time we visit the area.
Sono andato a novembre quando nel menu c'è il tartufo bianco di San Giovanni d'Asso, ma l'offerta di questa deliziosa osteria va ben oltre.Buonissima la Zuppa di ceci e zucca con abbondante tartufo, ma addirittura splendida la Francesina (lesso rifatto con le cipolle), che è sempre più difficile da trovare. E non mi sono fatto scappare l'occasione
Excellent food, everything delicious, flavors rich and interesting, better than typical Tuscan food……………………………..
